GOOSEBERRY PIE FAIR Held Sunday 6th July 2008 Recent years: 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 Location: Various places in the village History Chairman: Martin Ridge Tel: 01803 844927 Photographer: Peter Tattersall As you can see from the pictures, It was a cloudy day typical of this summer but it stayed dry and the annual event of the Gooseberry Pie fair was held as usual in the centre of the village. For the 14th year running these excellent photos were taken by Peter Tattersall to whom we would like to express our thanks. The Pie was blessed by the vicar of Churston the Rev. Ian Blyde and opened by Lt. Jim Correia, US Navy
