We have decided to try September instead of June this year to give a seasonal variation to the Open Gardens and the exhibits in The Village Flower Show, and to enable a Vegetable Show to be staged ( not enough vegetables around in June!) Also the change of month would give more space between it and the other big village event The Gooseberry Pie Fair in July. It will also give us the chance to theme the Barn Chapel mini Flower Festival and the evening performance of Words and Music towards Autumn and Harvest which will be a change. I will let you know in a month or so the exact programme. There will be similarities but we are also devising some new additional events.
